Two Paths, One Summit

Shopify Racing powered by TWOth Sets Its Course for the Top of Sportscar Racing

CALABOGIE, Ontario — August 25, 2026 — TWOth Autosport, the Canadian racing team competing under the Shopify Racing banner, today opened the door on an ambitious multi-year plan: a deliberate, ladder-by-ladder climb toward the summit of North American sportscar racing.

The team’s destination is the IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, where TWOth is targeting an LMP2 and GTD entry in the 2028–2030 window — the platforms that lead to the sport’s pinnacle enduros, the Rolex 24 at Daytona and, ultimately, the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

“We’re at basecamp, and this is the final climb. We’ve spent years building the team, processes, and track record to get this far. Now we’re taking our flag to the summit — the WeatherTech series and the 24-hour crown jewels; the Rolex 24 and LeMans.  — Travis Hill, Team Principal, TWOth Autosport

Two paths, one summit

TWOth develops drivers through a system of cars and champions along two parallel ladders that converge at the professional summit. The GT path climbs through Porsche machinery — from the 718 GT4RS to the new 911 GT4 R and on to the GT3 R in GTD. The prototype path runs from Radical and Ligier machinery through Radical Cup, LMP3 to LMP2. Both meet at the IMSA WeatherTech Championship, giving every driver a structured route from their first regional weekend to the top step of the sport.

Basecamp isn’t the bottom, it's a meeting point

The climb starts from a position of strength. TWOth looks into 2027 as the 2024 HSR Prototype Challenge Am champions, 2025 FEL Radical Cup Canada champions, 2025 HSR Classic 24h at Daytona winners and in a season-long fight for the 2026 IMSA VP Bronze championship — a winning record that stretches back to the team’s founding in 2013. TWOth’s development approach has already carried drivers from their first regional starts to national titles and into IMSA competition, including Shopify founder and CEO Tobi Lütke, who made his Rolex 24 at Daytona debut in 2025 with ERA Motorsport and 24 Hours of LeMans debut this season with TDS Racing.

"For three years the prototype program has been the focus — the LMP3 work was the foundation for Tobi's WeatherTech debut in LMP2, and TWOth's target for the new 2028 homologation. Through all of it, our Porsche program has held its own - performing on track with partners hungry to see it grow. Now we give it the same runway. Building our GT effort into a WeatherTech contender to stand alongside the prototypes is the next climb — and it starts now."

The 2027 rungs

Building the rope team

As established team drivers and partners look to progress up the ladder, new opportunities arise for those looking to join the growing sportscar program. The team is particularly focused on rising Silver-rated and ambitious Bronze-rated drivers who share the same desire of reaching the Rolex 24 and Le Mans.

“Its no secret what we've been working towards, but a summit like this isn’t reached alone. As the 2026 season comes to a close, we’ll announce some of the drivers and partners already joining us for the next leg of the journey. If your goal is Daytona and Le Mans, the moment to start building toward it is now — with a team equally focussed on getting there.”  — continued Hill.

First, the team will look to close out 2026 in style as they head to Petit Le Mans at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta with the IMSA VP LMP3 Bronze championship on the line.

“The next climb starts by finishing what we set out to do in 2026: take home an IMSA championship.”
